Life feels expensive lately. There are always things competing for the family budget. Groceries, summer activities, vacations, home projects, and all of the little things that seem to add up overnight. Family photos often end up becoming one of those "maybe later" things.

So for August, I'm offering a simple weeknight session option.

$150 when paid in full at booking. Up to 45 minutes, and includes 12 images with the option to purchase additional images.

I’m gonna hype myself up for a second because this session? I ate. It’s so common to document the little years and then… it fades. So getting to capture this stage felt really special, and honestly warmed my heart. We had so much fun, and I’m not over it.

And shoutout to mom + dad because these boys? Hands down some of the most respectful group of boys/brothers I’ve ever photographed.

I hope this encourages more families with older children to book the session, they are still your babies 🥹

A few questions I’ve received in regards to my Mother’s Day sale

Does it have to be in the studio?

Nope. This mini session promo can be used for any upcoming mini session I offer, indoor or outdoor. The only exclusion is Christmas tree farm minis. Promo credits can’t be used for those.

Does it have to be motherhood/mommy and me?

Also no. This was never about forcing a theme. The whole point of this promo is to give you a realistic, doable way to finally get photos done this year. Whether that’s family, just the kids, or motherhood. I know full sessions aren’t always in the budget, and sometimes an hour is just not it for little ones. This was created with that in mind.

Can I gift this?

YES! This makes a great gift to give to a fellow mom who is crushing it, and maybe needs to be in more photos with her kids. Also a great gift idea to send to your baby daddy!! 😉

I was 15 when one of my favorite humans told me he was going to be a dad. And somehow, even then, I knew the world was about to get better. Then you arrived. And just like that, our family stretched a little wider, and made room for something we didn’t even know we were missing.

Over the next 17 years, you became everything to me. Somewhere between sister and daughter, best friend and cousin… something without a title, because no single word could ever hold what you are to me. Loving you has been the easiest, most natural thing I’ve ever done. And watching you become who you are has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Thank you jillybutt, for being my person, my built in best friend, and my heart in human form.

Now excuse me while I go cry for the rest of the day, realizing that my baby turns 18 and graduates in a little over a month. I am not ok 🥲
