As I get older (ha) so do my littlest clients! The families that started with me as toddlers are now preteens. I have had to change how I shoot; we may no longer be able to toss them into the sky, but we are able to capture their current sibling relationship, a beautiful family dynamic and a season of life that will someday feel so far away.

I’ve photographed this sweet family for years—long before there were any babies—and somehow this year, we discovered that our dads were best friends growing up.

Being invited to their happy place to document their family, their connection, and the cabin that holds so much meaning for them was truly something special.

I love when photography brings you full circle in ways you never could have expected.
