I haven’t shared this on my photography page yet, but my mom passed away unexpectedly on May 23rd. Since that morning, life has been a blur as I try to process such a heartbreaking loss.

As a single mom who also works full-time as a marketing specialist, adjusting to life without her support has been incredibly challenging. She played such a vital role in our lives, and her absence is deeply felt every day.

I’m slowly beginning to open up bookings for August and into the fall. My availability may be a bit more limited as I navigate this new reality and figure out care for my daughter during sessions. I truly appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of photographing my first few UW graduation sessions this spring! The campus is absolutely stunning right now, with flowers in full bloom. It's the perfect backdrop for photos. This lovely girl was all smiles during our session! I recently rediscovered Klein's Floral & Greenhouses as a fantastic option for cold-weather sessions, and it turned out amazing. The gorgeous lighting and stunning floral backdrops created the perfect setting!

I’m LOVING these photos from a recent tree farm session, taken just before the bitter cold arrived! The family’s navy and neutral outfits look stunning against the lush evergreen backdrop. To top it off, the girls baked cookies, which made the perfect festive props for their Christmas photos!

This location is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I’m so grateful one of my families suggested it this year – just a few steps in any direction give us completely different backgrounds, and the lighting during golden hour is absolutely gorgeous.

I don’t make it to the Monroe Street area often, but I’m so glad I headed out there for a couple of sessions this fall! Wingra Park was the perfect backdrop—the lighting was stunning, and the colors were simply beautiful. Currently editing photos from 10/20… slowly making my way through the busy season ☺️
