We had been watching the weather all week, and it looked like rain late in the day, but we were supposed to be fine for our early evening session time. Of course, driving there I’m looking at these very ominous clouds, scouting the blooms and checking the radar to see there is definitely rain coming that we weren’t expecting. But ya know, of course this sweet fam was already almost there, I was there, so we went for it! And the whole time I was just waiting for the skies to open up and pour on us, BUT all we got were a few sprinkles! I really couldn’t believe it. And we got soooo many sweet photos, I was just smiling the whole time editing these. What an honor to continue documenting this beautiful family - I can’t believe what a star V is, and I can’t wait for the next time I get them in front of my camera again!

They became husband and wife in the very same theater they became an official couple, and it really doesn’t get much cooler than that! This day was fullllll of so much laughter, love and nostalgia. I loved that they brought all of their favorite people together in such an iconic Madison venue that means so much to them. It was an honor to be there and to capture this amazing wedding day.

Olivia and Joe are big foodies and are always trying new places. One of their favorites is Lola’s Hi/Lo Lounge and they knew from our first call that they wanted to do engagement photos here! They weren’t sure how it would photograph, but when they mentioned it, I was immediately in. Luckily, when I reached out to Lola’s, they were beyond accommodating and I already can’t wait for another excuse to be back. We did some more outdoor photos downtown after this, but they headed back to Lola’s for dinner when we were done because, duh. More to come!

A love for the ages. Sophie and Perri were absolutely made for one another, and it was so clear on their wedding day. I loved hearing their friends and family talk about how they are basically the same person, and seeing how they interacted with so much admiration towards each other all day. They thought of every detail, and I especially loved that Sophie wore her great grandmothers veil - she was the 6th bride in her family to wear it! Picking some favorites for this sneak peek was a feat, but I’ve narrowed it down to some gems to show you a glimpse into the beautiful Sunday wedding here in Madison!

13 years in the making - these two have been through a lot of life together. Multiple degrees, living apart, getting a puppy, finally living together and now making forever official. Being around Sam and Kole feels easy, and they planned the most beautiful celebration of their love. The Overture center wowed as always, there were personal touches galore, and would you believe all their florals were silk?! I’ll be reliving this one for a while. Cheers to the newlyweds!

What a weekend. I had the best time capturing Sam and Kole’s long awaited wedding weekend! It all started with their church ceremony on Friday, and with the art fair on the square happening the next day, we took some time after their ceremony to take photos with their sweet pup, Archie, at the Capitol! I’m so glad we were able to knock out some of those Capitol photos the night before because it was totally crazy Saturday. Also I’m obsessed with their different wedding looks, so yay for fun portraits on both days! 😍😂 Their wedding day deserves its own full post, so be on the lookout for that soooon! 🥰

Omg I’ve been dying to get to this gallery in my editing queue!! How cute are these two and their sweetie pup?! I’m obsessed and we had just the best time frolicking around McCarthy park together a few weeks ago. It was a tiny bit buggy, but mostly beautiful temps and perfect golden light. I surely took way too many pictures 🤪🤩🥰
