If you’re debating whether or not you should hire a photographer for your proposal, just look at these photos! Without a photographer you might get a few blurry iPhone photos from a distance, the moment might get missed, etc. If you don’t feel the moment needs photos at all, then that’s totally fine! But if you do, I wouldn’t rely on a friends iPhone.
Also, the photographer your hire doesn’t have to be a wedding photographer who’s booked out years in advance. Find a smaller, local photographer who has done proposals before and has a portfolio that you like and go from there. You won’t regret it!
