I’m closing my photography business.
it’s hard to walk away from something I love.
Something I’m good at.
Especially when I have no idea what’s next.
or even if there IS a next thing.
it was an excrutiating decision to close my photography business, but even as I grieve, I have so much peace about the decision and I’m trusting that God has something better for me.
I have no regrets about starting my business eight (EIGHT!) years ago. Goodness, I was such a baby! I had NO idea how to start a business. It’s tempting to feel like the work i put in was a waste of time but not a second of it was. I’ve learned and grown SO much.
Anyway, on to the practical stuff.
1. This is for real. No Tom Brady retirement antics or GH Bass Store-Liquidation-Sale-for-years-on-end funny business.
2. My website will vanish sometime in the next couple of weeks but I will still be available here or via email if you have any questions at all.
3. My digital products (the brand photo workbook, first impressions workbook, etc) are on sale in the shop til wednesday 1/24 only. After that they are gone forever.)
I’ll still be here on this insta account. I’ll probably keep the handle for now, too. I’ve always shared a mix of personal and biz stuff (when I’m not hiding behind my screen doing the doom scroll) but it will now be mostly personal with entrepreneurial thoughts mixed in. I’d be honored if you stuck around!
This isn’t the last entrepreneurial pursuit, just the first.
Til the next one,
Amy
