Is everyone hanging on out there during this crazy but magical season?

I feel like I am almost at the finish line for the year at a business standpoint. I completed all my Santa and Fall sessions, I am finishing up two final baby plan albums for proofing, I sent off custom Christmas cards to the print lab (they are so stunning), I sent off all customer ornament orders from Santa, I ordered some special little gifts to hopefully make someone smile who is going through a rough time. And I cannot say thank you enough to all of my AMAZING clients this year!

This year has been a wondeful yet challenging one, but for all positive and wonderful reasons. With selling our last home, moving to our friends house, building drama (which all turned out great in the end), moving into our new home all while working almost full time hours at my nursing job and juggling Anders’ hockey/sports/etc...it has been a balancing act! I appreciate each and every one of you for your grace and patience.

This year truly has been the most unusual time in my business and things I love to cross of the list immediately sometimes have had a bit slower turn around time so that I could ensure it was up to my highest standards and that nothign was overlooked! I care deeply about all of you and want the best for everyone and sometimes that takes a little extra time, so thank you! I am truly blessed to know you and have clients like you! I cannot wait to see all the magic we will create in 2026!

This family is so very special to me as we both have walked a similar journey in life. One where cancer stops you in your tracks and forces you to appreciate the moment in front of you. One where you stop to absorb and memorize your mother’s face, her laugh, the color of her eyes, her smile, the way she carries this tremendous weight. You no longer get the luxury and privilege of making future plans. Cancer can steal a lot, but cancer cannot invade the soul, it cannot conquer the spirit, cannot steal eternal life. Most importantly it cannot change or steal the memories and deep love, bond, or connection between a mother and her child.

Watching this sweet and spunky granddaughter bond with her grandmother and mother was a beautiful reminder of how love transcends time, truly creating a tapestry of memories, deep love and connection that is forever cherished the rest of our lives.
