Post-Winter Reset 🧖🏼‍♀️

My scalp has been so dry this winter, and with postpartum hair regrowth starting, it felt like the perfect time to try Kosa Spa’s new scalp treatment.

Inspired by Ayurvedic practices, the Crown Renewal Ritual is designed to nourish the hair roots, rehydrate the scalp, and calm the nervous system. The ritual includes herbal masks, warm oil, scalp massage, and aromatherapy.
The entire Kosa environment always feels like an oasis & nervous system reset. It was the perfect post-winter, postpartum treat.
I’ve already noticed a big difference in my scalp since the treatment: it’s no longer dry and irritated and my baby hairs are growing in even faster.

February Favorites 🫧🫧

1. The Glow & Flow event with x : a mat class with a gau sha workshop by . Noone does events like Sevven..the intention & love in every detail it unmatched. It was my first gau sha experience, and Roxanna’s knowledge and magic makes everything so incredible.

2. I love everything ginger and cannot stop thinking about the ginger soda from Imaginary Factory. It’s bold, spicy, and just perfect.

3. If you’ve had the Filet-O-Fish sandwich from Harvey House, then you already know. If you haven’t… this is your sign. Incredible.

4. Saunaday is featuring visual art by Nastia Craig projected on the walls in the evenings, and it is such a beautiful sensory experience. A must see.

5. The Crown Renewal Ritual at Kosa Spa was exactly what I needed 5 months postpartum. It completely refreshed my scalp, supporting new growth, and curing the dry winter everything. More to come on this!!

6. The King Kong Roll at Jacknife. 15/10. No notes.

7. The Sleepy bath bomb from Lush. Anything in the sleepy scent is just bliss.

8. continues to be my light. Even when I can’t go often, every Lift45 class resets something in me.

9. The Classic sourdough from will forever be a favorite. (Bread and butter is my main food group right now so hear me out!!)

10. Butterbird brunch. The biscuit. The sunlight. Immediately add it to your list.

If you’ve ever grabbed a Frios pop from their truck around town, you already know how incredible they are. And now, there’s even better news—Frios has a new brick-and-mortar location in Waunakee where you can grab your favorite popsicles anytime! We’re obsessed with the Cookies & Cream and Chocolate flavors, but honestly, we want to try them all.
The space also includes The Chill Zone—a fun, creative party rental space perfect for tweens (or anyone looking for something fun). They host craft nights, open “Chill Zone” nights, and more.
where you can enjoy life-size Lite-Brite, video games, photobooths, crafts and hanging out.
Such a fun addition to the area—check it out!

Level 5 Donuts — New Location!

🍩🍩🍩

Level 5 Donuts have been a favorite of ours for the last few years. Known for delivering weekly rotating flavors to local coffee shops, they often sold out fast if you didn’t get there early.

Now they’ve opened a brick-and-mortar storefront on Atwood, offering a variety of flavors options Wednesday- the weekend.

Fried in coconut oil, these donuts are a lighter, tastier take on the classic treat. I’m usually not a big donut fan, but these have totally won me over.

Pictured here: the churro, strawberry rhubarb crisp, and maple-glazed long john. Our favorite was the maple-glazed!
