I’ve been craving a shift in my photography for a while. The core is still there - capturing families, telling stories, creating the images that will be treasures for years to come. But I knew I wanted to do it in a way that felt even more real and honest, letting personalities shine and connections take center stage. And I’ll tell you - it feels so good! Lately I’m getting to know families on an even deeper level, to let them lead my creativity in a way that feels true to them. It’s a gift to get to call this work, and I’m thankful for every opportunity!

I’m so excited about a new offering I’m working on! Fresh 48 Sessions capture those tender very first days of your newborn’s life. Typically set before you take your baby home from the hospital, Fresh 48s give an opportunity to document the details as you’re welcoming your bundle of joy. The first cuddles, the hospital bracelets and hats, the pure joy that you’re feeling as you see each other becoming parents for the first or third or fifth time.

Double the love 🥹 Goodness, this family! I’ve had the joy of photographing them since their second was a newborn. When Julie contacted me to tell me she was having TWIN GIRLS and asked if we could do newborn photos again, I was just elated. They’re the kind of family that welcomes you in like old friends, and it was just the most fun to see them walk into twin life like pros. These four girls are precious and so lucky to have their mom and dad!

It has been a whirlwind of a couple of years in my personal life and business, with loss, beginning our homeschool journey, having another baby, and adjusting to being a family of 6! Thank you for bearing with me as I have learned my limitations and have taken a couple of extended breaks from this business. But I am so excited to announce I’m taking maternity, newborn, and family sessions through the end of the year! Availability will be more limited, as my family life requires much of me right now, so if you’re interested in a session this year reach out! I’ve missed y’all 😉

It’s about to be strawberry season, and I’m so looking forward to our tradition of picking berries! Last year I made a big pot of strawberry jam, and I’ve been craving it ever since. As I get older I look more and more forward to these slow and simple rhythms of life and enjoying them with my kids. It’s just such a gift!

Maternity sessions have such a special place in my heart! The joy and anticipation of parents is palpable and just seeps from them the entire time. I almost never have to give direction to smile or look at each other lovingly, because the smiles just never leave their faces! Whether it’s the first baby or the third (or fourth, or fifth!) it’s always an exciting time!
