Because of this, we have also been unable to view messages sent via Facebook - we are so genuinely sorry about this, as this is entirely unlike us to not respond!

Hi, everyone! 👋🏻

We have a huge announcement to make!

If you’ve been following us for a while (first off, we love you all), you may remember that we photographed traditional weddings from 2010-2018 before rebranding to intimate weddings and elopements!

We have loved every second of our ever evolving journey! (Reminder: as humans, we are meant to evolve! You are under no obligation to stay stuck in a version of yourself, your business, etc forever, so let any notion of that go!)

As of today, September 3, 2021, we are now only accepting elopements with two intentionally chosen witnesses in attendance! (We had been accepting up to 30 guests in attendance, then up to 15, now up to 2!)

This decision, as all of our decisions, comes from a lot (a LOT) of experiences and reflections upon what is pure magic and what serves our mission behind what we do - our why!

This feels so good on a soul level!

This weekend I close out my 20s and enter into my 30s on Monday! I am genuinely SO excited (fully serious!) for this next decade of life! My personal intention for this coming decade is sitting in a state of constant reflection upon what is serving me and what isn’t. I’ll be leaning into what is serving me and living there fully! (I wish this for everyone - life is too short to do what isn’t serving you ✨)

PART ✌🏻🥳 Fast forward to today - *drum roll please* We are now including COMPLIMENTARY SYNASTRY (couple’s!) READINGS IN EVERY ELOPEMENT PACKAGE 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Because let’s be honest - having insanely specific details on how to best love another person the way they SPECIFICALLY (yes, everyone needs to be loved differently - based on their individual insanely specific birth chart) need to be loved is WAY more helpful than a random dude in robes telling you how to do marriage based on a dusty old book 😝 (Disclaimer: I went to a private Catholic school for TEN YEARS - baptized Catholic here saying this, so no hate - just our opinions on NEW marriage practices ✌🏻)

Okay, enough rambling. LET’S GO! Who’s ready to have their entire relationship changed, discard old world thinking/traditions, and get an elopement or vow renewal on?! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS* 🥳 And no, we aren’t engaged or expecting a baby and Mabel still doesn’t have a little sister yet 😝

Those of you who have followed us since late 2019 may remember that I spontaneously booked an astrology reading for myself, had my life changed, spontaneously booked a couple’s reading for Jerry and I (and he was NOT the happiest camper going into it 👀🙄), had our entire 2,000 year relationship changed (yes, we’re dinosaurs 😝), and then was so mind blown that I naturally had to take not just one course but ALL the courses (back to back, no less) to become a master astrologer. 2020 = 12-17 hour days of pouring over astrology in utter fascination. Yes, this is how I quarantined, and it was the best ever 🙌🏻

Literally within 5 minutes of our couple’s reading, the astrologer told me that I need to give Jerry a hug once and a while and that he needs to be allowed to play video games, and I was like umm..are you hiding in our closet orrrr how do you know this about us? 🤯 We talk about astrology EVERY day in our relationship - it is 100% our guiding principal for how to exist and work together. I cannot emphasize enough how much it changed our ENTIRE years upon years long relationship within 1 single hour! 🤯

Fast forward to the past couple months - I have been unbelievably honored to have been booking 2+ months out for readings 🤯😭 (Major shout out to all of you who have booked with me - you have literally made my wildest dreams come true!) and Jerry has gotten just as on board with astrology as I have. His new favorite game is called “Hey, Pull This Chart” and it involves him giving me birth information but not telling me whose information it is so I have to spontaneously do a reading while he laughs hysterically at how I just nailed some famous person I’ve never heard of’s personality 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve had to give him a limit of no more than 5 charts a day because it was starting to get out of hand 😳😂

We’re basically your maid of honor and best man - but the kind who are actually there to support you on your day and all days forward, not just along for the ride and the party 🙃

Headache? We’ve got the Advil. Nauseous? We’ve got the Pepto. Hair falling out? We’ve got the bobby-pins. Need your dress bustled? We’ve bustled one point bustles to fifty-six point bustles - yes you read that correctly 😅 Not sure how to pin a boutonnière without blood shed, we’ve pinned as many boutonnières as we’ve photographed weddings with a track record of zero droplets of blood shed 🙌🏻 We’ve run errands, given rides, packed bags and cars, comforted, reassured, carried (literally) brides over sharp rocks and cow p**p, and the list goes on 😅

If you’ve been following along with us over the past couple of days, you’ve seen some of our crazy mountain adventures! 🏔

But as much as we love shooting in the gorgeous Colorado mountain ranges (and we LOVE it!! 🤩), we also love finding under appreciated and lesser known locations closer to home. We have had so many amazing photoshoots in Wisconsin and other midwestern states, and we pride ourselves in finding unique and remarkable locations that even locals who have lived there their whole lives don’t know about!

All of this goes to show that if traveling for your session or elopement just isn’t something you’re interested in, that doesn’t mean you can’t have the photoshoot of your dreams! 💓💓

Mountains Day ✌🏻✌🏻 CONVERTED SCHOOL BUS + FLY FISHING - need I even say more?
Today proved that dreams do come true 🤯
We woke up well before the sun this morning and headed to a campground where Kayleigh + Kieran live in their converted school bus 🤯🤯🤯 They had tea, and then we headed out to Rocky Mountain National Park for them to fly fish in a river and then in a lake. Kieran is a professional fly fishing guide, so he was our in to all the best locations, which was amazing!
Heading out of the park, they stopped to pick up breakfast to bring back to the bus, ending our 5 hour session in the most magical way ✨

MOUNTAINS DAY ✌🏻+☝🏻😝 This morning we made the trek from Laramie, Wyoming to Estes Park, Colorado and HOLY WILD FIRES is all we can say 😣 We went from clear blue skies to black skies and an overpowering smell of smoke. We eventually passed the worst of the fires and then drove directly up into the mountains, just 10 miles away from the edge of the fires. We hit areas of heavy smoke but also a lot of clean air and blue skies.
It’s safe to say that in all the places I’ve been in the world, Estes Park has taken my breath away unlike any other location. My jaw has been on the ground since we arrived, and this is officially the place I dream of calling home.
Our session for tonight sadly got cancelled last minute, which made us feel at a loss of content in this absolutely magical area. We dwelled on it for a bit, then we got some coconut water and hopped in the car and headed into the depths of Rocky Mountain National Park, and DAMN is all I can say about that 🤯

MOUNTAINS DAY ✌🏻- sooo Jerry decided to wake up at the crack of dawn this morning, and Jerry is NOT a quiet person, so I then woke up also. I attempted to go back to sleep, as I was so excited last night to sleep in until 9am, but, alas, Jerry was way to excited about being in Wyoming, and at 5:30 in the morning, we were suddenly throwing on sweatpants in the dark and on our way out the door in the pitch black and 28 degrees 🤦🏻‍♀️
I complained for a while, and then the sun started rising over the mountains behind us, dancing across the plains, and lightly touching the snowcapped mountains in front of us. Suddenly, Jerry’s childlike excitement at way too early of an hour was all worth it.
We drove along empty roads, mountains behind us, expansive plains on either side of us, and mountains in front of us, simply in awe of this beautiful state. We passed a single house with two little kids outside who were so excited to see a car they cheered as we passed 🥰 We eventually drove through a little mountain town, where we saw the teeny tiny school they were waiting for the bus to take them to, and we kept going, suddenly finding ourselves in Medicine Bow National Park, winding up the mountain roads.
We left the park, only because it was time to get breakfast and get ready for WEDDING DAY 🙌🏻

We had a very eventful day today, are reading to a WYOMING RANCH for tomorrow’s wedding, and then are heading back to Colorado where we will be photographing a couple who lives in a converted SCHOOL BUS (come on 🤯), and then photographing a fly fishing session in the mountains 🤯
