Coleman Hill in downtown historic Macon, GA
I rented a 35mm 1.2 lens and took a stroll through downtown Macon on a blustery afternoon. This time of year, the Japanese Magnolias at Coleman Hill are in full bloom, absolutely stunning and incredibly fragrant. You can catch their sweet scent from several feet away.
I shot mostly wide open at 1.2 with an ISO of 50, and with the wind whipping those blooms around, some frames had to be captured at 1/8000 of a second! Totally worth it to freeze that beauty in motion. πΈπ·
