I have always loved the outdoors. Whether as a young child visiting my grandparents in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia, or during these days at Lake Gaston, the sights and experiences of nature always stimulate my soul. After retiring from working in IT for 35 years, I now pursue my two passions: music and photography. I sense the beauty and emotion in p

hotography much the same way as I do in music. When I photograph nature, I literally go the extra mile. I hike long distances to find a gorgeous waterfall. I boat for hours searching for waterfowl on the lake. I shoot in the middle of the night or before sunrise. It's worth it, because these are the best ways to experience the outdoors. I have been a member of the Lake Gaston community for 30 years. I hope you find my work fun and inspiring!
