Good Evening, All!

Since a fair amount of people have been asking (and we are grateful), I'm just giving an update on my mom.

When I asked her what to say, she said to say, "I'm coming along." That's my mom... few with words.

As far as basics- she's been doing more, and wants to.

She's been starting her therapies for physical, cognitive, and vision, and has had other appointments in-between, with more coming up.
They're wearing her out, but for a greater good!

We both have lots to do and figure out, one thing at a time.

That being said-

Thank you all for the messages, cards, gifts, etc.
Even if I don't respond (or respond right away), or if I'm just basic with my messages back, please understand. It's not personal.

I'm still trying to be there for others, but also have to let God fill my tank, because most times right now, it's running on empty (ok, there's an earworm for some of you).

This is a lot to take in, learn, and make decisions.

I joked with my mom how, I don't know how she did it with me while taking care of my grandmother, and now I'm helping her and taking care of Diamond.
And everything else in-between.

She's been such a trooper and still is.

We just want you to know how much you're appreciated.

I've read the cards to her, check her messages and read them to her, and help her with her phone. She seems to be getting that down to an extent, as best as she can.

I wish you peace, love, and care in God's loving arms.

I personally, could not get through this without Him, and He works through you all.

Don't doubt that.

Hi, All!

Keep those prayers a-coming!

My mom is cleared to go back to Good Shepherd.
Her bleed is stable and actually looking better this evening.

Earlier, they mentioned it could be from it changing shape as it reabsorbs.
That makes sense

Her symptoms that took her there were a heavy arm with the feeling of pins and needles, so they did what was right in getting her to the ER (or ED, nowadays).
She did 2 laps around the gym and started to find "hidden" beanbags, when she started to feel those symptoms.
I'm grateful they err'd on the side of caution.

She's had this before, and they told her to go to the ER if it happens again.

They did tests on her while I was there, and said she is strong. She was able to see fingers (but kind of shadows, from my understanding), with her left eye, and also was much better with her right eye.

She saw the time on a clock on the wall, and also remembered passwords for me to access some things, and I told her about some people who reached out to me and remembered about them!

So, here we are.

And I've been asked by a few people, so I'm putting this out there-

Yes, I'm alcohol-free and a sober from that poison.
I have no desire.

Yes, Diamond is doing well. We walked a shorter one this morning, and a good one this evening.

I'm grateful that I was with my mom's sister, my aunt, when they called me today saying it was "urgent".

I'm grateful for the support, and I know she is, too. I relay as much as I can and remember, and I know she is grateful.

I'm still working on the JT calendars.

I am grateful for the staff at LV, and Good Shepherd, and always tell them so. She loved her job in the cath lab there, and is now on the other side.

I am actually ok, besides being exhausted. I'm literally taking it as it comes.
Like Jesus did.

Hi, All, and Happy SON-Day!

This photo was taken years ago in Maine, and I believe it's in Machias, along the Machias River, taken along Route 1.

Bella & I were on our way to Lubec (and then, New Brunswick, Canada), and saw this scene along the way, so of course, we had to pull over and capture this beautiful sight!

This photo wasn't the clearest. It was taken with my 2nd (used) camera, and a kit lens, zoomed in.
It was earlier in my photography days.

The best camera you have, is the one in your hand! 😉
And the best knowledge you have, is what you know at the moment!

I worked with it the best I could, and I’m happy with how it turned out!

Also kept thinking how it could pass for a painterly look, so here you have it!

We hope you have a most enjoyable evening.

Take one thing at a time, look for the wonderful moments and enjoy them, and rest in God's peace, love, and care.

Celebrate the Victories!

Surround yourself with those who will celebrate with you.

What may seem like nothing to someone, may mean the world to you, at any given point in your life.

Stay in gratitude with those "little Victories", because they may not be so little in your life.

Some Victories will seem bigger than others.

-You may be coming out of a depression and are possibly seeing things differently.
-You may be sober another day.
-You may have controlled yourself in some way- words, actions, and/or thought- when you almost didn't.
-You may have done something different that brought a new or more light in to your life.

Don't stop being amazed at what God is doing in your life.

Keep that child-like Faith.

Keep your chin up, and don't let others dictate your thoughts, mood, and your life.
Let that up to God.
And remember not everyone follows that.

If I let others dictate my life based on words or actions, I probably wouldn't do anything again.

Stick with those who are healthy for you, so your cup can be filled and even overflow, You just may be that person for another.
You may not even realize it.
God does.

Remember that God loves you unconditionally- that means without conditions.

He meets us all right where we are.

Rest peacefully tonight, give it to Him, relax your face and body, unclench that jaw, breath deeply a few times, pray and also give thanks, and know your are so very loved.

I am not there now, but oh, would it be nice to be up in that area.

There is Growth in the struggle.
There is Hope in the chaos.
There is Joy in the sadness
There is Grace in the challenge.
There is a Message in the mess.
There is Victory in the battle.
There is Love in the hate.
There is Faith in the loss.
There is Life after death.

A rare sight this morning!

The crescent moon, Venus, and the star, Regulus (the brightest star in the constellation Leo), were visible in the eastern sky!

I was able to capture this conjunction in the predawn sky, I believe this was around 6:00am.

It was so awesome seeing this in the sky- it was so bright and clear!

Some benefits of getting up early... we get to see sights such as these!

🎶 The earth is filled with His Glory! 🎶

After a long day and debating on going out for the sunset due literally to exhaustion, we decided to go last-minute. I kept watching the sky and an app I use, and I just couldn't let it go, so off we went, and I'm so glad we did!

Diamond got to sniff and see a friend after I took a few pics.
She even took the liberty of jumping in that friend’s golf cart 😂

We weren't there too long, but arrived in time to capture quite a few pictures.

This is one of many.

Heading to bed sooner than later, after winding down and some sleepytime tea.
D is already totally out for the count 🐾💖💤

Everything that happens in our lives, has never happened before.

Like an old saying, “you can’t stand in the same river twice, because by the time you go back, it’s not the same river, and you’re not the same person.”

Right at the moment when you’ve thought you’ve seen it all, something happens in your life that you never expected.

I think about how many times I’ve taken pics from the same place, but it’s always different; never the same.
It’s very symbolic.

Photography, since I came to my faith in Christ, will be, and most likely will always be, a part of my life, no matter what I’m doing or where I am in life.

It’s just a part of who (and Whose) I am.

I did not expect it, but it developed (pardon the pun 😂), and a business grew from it.

I’m grateful for this Gift, grateful to be able to share it, and grateful for you all.

And I’m so grateful that many who have gotten prints are happy with them!
