Standing before this sculpture at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, I didn’t just see art—I felt it.
The sorrow, the love, the sacrifice… it speaks without words.
The image displays a 17th-century Spanish PietĂ  sculpture, likely created around 1725, which portrays the Virgin Mary holding the body of Christ
My love for art is how it reaches the heart, and this piece is a powerful reminder of what Easter truly means—He suffered, He gave, and He loved us through it all.

Through the trees, over quiet streets, and into a brand new day, it reminded me that God’s mercy shows up faithfully—again and again.
No matter what yesterday held, this light says: You made it.
You’re still here.
And there is still purpose ahead.
In the stillness of this Sunday morning, I’m grateful for another chance to breathe, to heal, and to walk in His grace.
