Manchester is the largest city in the U.S. state of New Hampshire, the eleventh largest city in New England, and as of 2016 the largest city in northern New England, an area comprising the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 109,565, and its estimated 2016 population was 110,506. It is located in Hillsborough County along the banks of the Merrimack River, which divides the city into eastern and western sections. Manchester is near the northern end of the Northeast megalopolis. It was first named by the merchant and inventor Samuel Blodget (after whom Samuel Blodget Park and Blodget Street in Manchester's North End are named). Blodget's vision was to create a great industrial center similar to that of the original Manchester in England, which was the world's first industrialized city.

NEW FOR 2026: PATRA MOTO is now managing motocross track operations at Hemond’s MX & Offroad Park!

Hemond’s MX & Offroad Park (HMXP) in Minot, Maine has been operating since 2002, earning its reputation as one of New England’s top-rated motocross and offroad facilities. HMXP offers 600+ acres (including 100+ acres of parking) with two full-size motocross tracks, 10+ miles of offroad trails, and more than 400 feet of elevation change.

PATRA MOTO has been sponsoring youth racers since 2007, aspiring to inspire kids to push their limits, get up when they fall, and enjoy the thrills of a sport we grew up loving. Our team includes lifelong motocross racers who have been riding at HMXP since it opened in 2002 and working in the industry, including professional racing and motocross videography. Since 2015, PATRA MOTO has been involved with HMXP facility maintenance, event operations and promotion.

In 2026, these two passion projects are officially teaming up as PATRA MOTO assumes management of track operations at HMXP. Our goal is to become a top motocross and offroad destination in the country, a place where families and friends create their best memories.

Short-term plans in support of this mission include completing track improvements and facility upgrades; increased facility staffing and training programs; opening for weekly practice; and enhancing track preparation for races and large events. Long-term goals include creating a consistent schedule and product for the local MX community; growing the sport of motocross in Maine and New England; and expanding facility recognition across the USA and worldwide.

To help us reach our goals, PATRA MOTO is seeking financial sponsorships in exchange for advertising and promotion at the HMXP facility and on the HMXP website and social media accounts. We’re also seeking individuals interested in working at HMXP alongside PATRA MOTO leadership during events, open practices and other facility improvement work days throughout the 2026 season.

We had a great day yesterday. Over the years, it’s been incredibly humbling to watch these kids grow and to be surrounded by such wonderful families.

It’s not always easy balancing the
9–5, moto, and now becoming a new dad, but I can honestly say I love every bit of it. Let’s go 2026!
