I guess there’s no better time to share a sun drenched summer session then when it’s almost February and you haven’t been on social media for a good while…

I have so much to share with you all and I will be popping on here and there moving forward while still learning to keep those healthy boundaries with this app and my business.

If there is one thing I have learned in my time away, it’s that there are so many beautiful moments to be had with loved ones even if those times may consist of grief and healing.

Be present. Be kind. Be open… to growth, to learning how to see the color in the world again, to creating space in your heart for yourself and for others, to allowing your walls crumble just to build them up stronger than ever before.

This light, these tones, and this family… starts singing: “this is what dreaaaams are made of!”

Not much else to say really, except for they make me swoon and I wish I could relive this session over and over.

These sweet little girls were so perfect, handing me flowers and cool rocks and asking if I wanted to “watch them do cartwheels” like we were old friends. Mama is an insanely talented photog , shouting you out my lady, and is such a sweet old soul who radiates positivity and kindness. I feel so honored to have been able to just meet her! And beyond that, the love her and her husband share together and for their girls is immense and unwavering.

You all have won my heart 1000% over! 🫶🏼

Too many favorites not to make a mega post for this crew! 🌞

When and I started planning our shootout in May, we knew we had a particular vision for each and every session. This particular session, although not our typical lighting scenario, we knew we wanted to push ourselves and our attendees to try something new and maybe not so “comfortable”. Harsh light can be really difficult to navigate sometimes. But we knew with the right planning and vision, it could be done and that we would need to embrace every moment of it. And wow… did this session not disappoint!

This family showed up ready to adventure around! We planned a picnic and wanted this session to portray more of the documentary storytelling style. It was absolute perfection!

A big thank you to the Cooper family for bringing all the goodness this day!

Finally getting around to posting this mountain golden goodness with the raddest crew!

A few days after their family session, they went off and backpacked the Dolomites, baby Finn in tow. I don’t think it gets any cooler than that!

I wanna be you, Jordan fam, when I grow up. 😎 But for now, I’ll just obsess over your photos!

Sometimes when Mother Nature doesn’t comply, you make magic with what you have. ✨

This beautiful couple are about to welcome their first baby and came to Maine for a weekend away all the way from Chicago. The weather was looking not so great but we found a little window of time and got to know one another in the fog at this very picturesque Maine location.

The weather may be giving us all a run for our money this season, but this is a reminder as clients that even if your session doesn’t call for sun and you keep an open mind, there can be so much beauty to be had.

Now, let’s shower these two with all the love!

Feeling very grateful for a community filled with so, so much love when times feel down. ✨

Thank you to every single one of you - family, friends near and far, clients, and random strangers on the internet who have chosen to take a few moments from their day to send their love, well wishes, and prayers.

The last few weeks have tested us in more ways than one and I will be forever grateful for the outpouring of support and love from you all. 🫶🏼

If you could have been a fly on the wall for this session, you would have been having a grand ole time! We had so many laughs and this family absolutely stole my heart. 🫶🏼

Side note - how are my photog pals holding up this week here in Maine/New England? 🙃 Me? I’m about ready to pull my hair out with this weather. All I have to say is my reschedules better have amazing golden gooey light OR ELSE. 😅

All I can hear as I go to make this post is “it’s been 84 years”… with the gif that pops in my head. 😅

But ummmm these baby goat snuggle mini’s were so fun and I haven’t even shared any of them yet so here we goooo! 🫶🏼 Jamie & Alden are too adorable and I’m in love with this chunka love baby boy.

On another note, sending all the good juju to my fellow photog’s this week here in New England with this weather. 🙃 Maybe the sun will come back out in July…

Trying to remember to post on my feed these days is like # 5734690 on my list of things to do… and ya know what, IT’S OKAY!

But when I know I have cutie sessions like these in the queue to edit, a little piece of me also dies inside. no matter how much I know I have to do. It’s a toxic trait, it’s fine.

Anyone else struggle to find balance between not giving a flyin’ ya know what about posting but also having the worst guilt ever?!

Tell me I’m not alone…

Anywayssss, I adore this family and Jovie is going to be the cutest big sis ever because I mean, c’monnn, she is the cutest, duhhh. 🍦☀️

What happens when you have Sunday Funday with a bunch of fellow photographers and some of your favorites?…

You make mattress maternity magic in the field at golden hour for one…

But you also have 3 other sessions that are absolutely amazing! *spoiler alert, i’m dying to share all them!*

Sunday’s shootout that I co-hosted with was definitely one for the books and finally getting these two in front of my lens was a complete dream.

Mak, you’re gonna be the best mama! I’m so excited for you two to meet your new little maple syrup making bestie! 🫶🏼
