The bonus is having the best time along the way! I have always been involved in art of some form or another. Watercolor is an all-time favorite medium! I have painted acrylic on over a 100 walls from SLC to here. Now, I've found a new favorite art form... photography. Painting people, surroundings, popping colors, erasing and adding, creating flawless skin, composition, layout and more... this is

my new canvas! From the Fish Lake Mountains to the red rocks of Capitol Reef National Park, there is beauty to be captured in photos. I live in one of the most amazing parts of the world (in my humble opinion)... Great people plus gorgeous scenery equals a terrific photo! TWINS… I think they got up at 5 AM to get to me for pictures! He had baseball practice get back to! 😅
Good news… he made it! And we made the best memories!

There’s something so special about full-circle moments…
I photographed these twins when they were just tiny—barely turning eight years old—and getting to reconnect with them now was so awesome.
Brynn is absolutely incredible—currently Miss Utah Teen, a talented cheerleader at Salem High, and headed to cheer at the University of Utah. One amazing girl.
And her brother… just as impressive. A dedicated baseball player at Salem High. He’s preparing to leave on an LDS mission to Paraguay, and you can just feel the goodness and purpose in him.
They woke up REALLY EARLY to make this shoot happen—because baseball practice couldn’t wait—and somehow, that early morning turned into the most beautiful backdrop.
So much talent. So much heart. And the kind of bond only twins can share.
I feel so lucky to have captured them then… and now.

She lost her sweet mom (my sister-in-law/SISTER) a few years ago. Ever since she was little, white butterflies have been something special between them—their thing.
And since her mom’s passing, those little white butterflies seem to find her… in the most unexpected places, at the most perfect times.
During this session, they were there again 🤍
Even though I didn’t capture them in a photo, I couldn’t ignore it happened.
I truly believe our loved ones are never far, especially during the moments that matter most. They show up in quiet, beautiful ways… reminding us we’re not alone.
I love this sweet girl so much. She is strong, kind, and full of light. I hope she always knows her mom is close—watching, loving, and sending little white butterflies her way.

I had so much fun with these cute boys this morning! They’re headed to New York at the end of May and you know I’m going to be cheering the loudest from Utah!!!

He’ll be serving the people of Paraguay for two years! He’s going to love them, and they will love him… I have no doubt.
