All shapes and sizes.

It’s so interesting to see all the styles and sizes of places I photograph. I know this one doesn’t beat the bank I shot 2022. But it comes close. But even though the space is smaller, it still holds numerous challenges that have to be worked out. Reflecting light and colors, time of day, number of windows, color temperature of the mixed lighting and sunlight, keeping the space neat, highlighting specific angles and aspects of the space, being clever with camera angles.

This space in Springfield RI for Centreville Bank was designed by my friends at The space was maximized to provide the best possible experience and service to the customers of the bank. This design was retrofit into an existing shopping center space, beautifully designed, making my job pretty straightforward.

I love a good sunrise and that is what I got the morning I photographed the Peoples Bank. This branch was a retrofit to an existing facility of a previous banking company. So the project called for an injection of new life into a building that had some great lines and good bones. was the design team that created this beautiful interior space with some really interesting additions- like a comfy booth area to discuss all things banking- privately. And it looks really cool!

Thanks to the team at the branch in Hunt Valley MD for the warm welcome and allowing me to displace everyone and buzz around and capture all the images I needed to get prior to them opening for the day, I thank you.

I had the extreme honor of photographing a historic home turned boutique hotel. The transformation happened in the last two years and officially opened last fall.

Constructed in 1866 by John Shipe on what would becoming Easton’s Millionaires Row. It was originally the J. Fredrick Thomas mansion. And after being an apartment complex, medical practice, and apartment again. It fell on hard times and was left empty for more than a decade.

The Townley House hotel came to being from the dedication and vision of Mick Gjevukaj and the 'Enjoy with Gusto' team.

When I reached out to them to talk about shooting the property they were on board almost immediately and after a few emails back and forth the date was set and I was on location over the weekend. More I mages will follow in the coming days. This was a shot I grabbed while I was there a few weeks back.

I woke up this morning to read that Philadelphia native and La Colombe own, Todd Carmichael, is stepping down as CEO of the beloved Philly started company-now nationwide brand name. He is said to be looking into something new. If it’s anything like La Colombe, it’s going to be something special, different, and delicious. Good luck Todd!

Shots taken at the Fishtown cafe.

It’s been a while since the studio was called on for headshots. But I’m always happy to.

Having opportunities to do work that highlights our professional community, whether it’s a building, a hospitality business, an architecture firm, or the people that make these entities work, is behind what my photography work is always about! Being from PA and now living exclusively in the northeast of the state has been a wonderful experience. Seeing the changes, some good and not so, has inspired me to do whatever I can to continue to make things better in anyway I can.

So shooting for a company, not from the area but wanting to call Hazleton home (and as their FIRST home in the US), was a privilege! Nexii Building Solutions is a great company and looking to grow in the commercial construction industry as a custom prefab material supplier and they have an eco-friendly product that will be a game changer I’m sure.

So headshots were in order for these folks, and I was happy to accommodate them. Shot on white, three strobes, all that beautifully rendered white and detail was shot in camera, MINOR editing-no retouching!

Welcome to NEPA Nexii!

Being a part of my community is amazing! Being involved with people of different walks of life, with different interests, and different nationalities is inspiring.

Giving back, and doing good, through my photography is what I live for. So when those moments present themselves I jump on them. Just like last week, I had all intentions of going downtown to partially fulfill my promise to Alice E. McKittrick of the Hazleton Art League that I would shoot the exterior images for the organization. And when I pulled up to take some sunset images, there was a small family in the park and the father was blowing on a Shofar. A rare site to see in public in Hazleton, but not uncommon with our Jewish families near by. The eclectic thing was that the family was Hispanic (that was the neck breaker for me). But as I walked up with camera in hand I was greeted by the father and asked to have a conversation with him and his son, who were just talking about the son wanting to do photography. I spent the next 45 minutes talking to him about learning, growing, understanding the craft, learning more, being vigilant and passionate about what he wants to do.

After that I spent the next hour or so chafing the remaining light available and created some soft light twilight images for the gallery. Feeling inspired and motivated by the events prior to that.

It felt good. I hope I was able to inspire and be someone who mattered to him, in that moment. Giving back, no matter what you do is always important. I’m grateful for every opportunity I get.

Details, details, details. Interior details, exterior details. My head is always looking around. But the details were everywhere. It really made me focus on what was important. Whether large or small I found texture, color and balance. Light, mid tones and shadows found their way into the lens and made for beautiful images that struck me even after the fact.

Hallways.

Halibut Blue contacted me to work on this project as a good deed to the owners of this building. Over 10,000 square feet of space to cover. Lots and lots of hallways to cover. Long lines, lots of eclectic artwork on the walls. It was too much fun to not talk my time. I’ve been in the building plenty of times but never to shoot it specifically. Not only is this building historical, but the owner has turned the building into a building of community. The time and effort that the owner has put into the building, the tenants, and the community is unbelievable. How could I not help out.

The AHN Allegheny Health Networks is a beautiful structure. It was designed by our friends at and is neatly nestled on a beautiful hillside in the northern community of McCandless. This was an exceptional morning where the clouds created a beautiful backdrop for this session.
