A weathered buoy rests upon the shore, Its working days at sea are finally done. No longer pulled by tides or ocean floor, It rests content beneath the setting sun. A coat of barnacles, lessons learned, now takes the place of bright white paint that faded long ago. With a broken rope of freedom, and scuffs across its face, It claims the quiet peace it earned through the years of labor...No more storms to fight, no heavy traps to bear,Just salty air and a dappled pebble beach where gentle waves retreat.

A weathered buoy rests upon the shore, Its working days at sea are finally done. No longer pulled by tides or ocean floor, It rests content beneath the setting sun. 🦝 HE’S BACK! 🥹Look who made a surprise return to the deck!
For those who remember the raccoons born in the Enchanted Forest, this is Tripod. When he was just a tiny kit, he survived a terrible attack and almost lost his foot. He spent an entire summer healing, and we weren't sure what his future would look like.

Well, Tripod is officially all grown up! 🌲✨Even though his foot is still a little damaged, he is strong, healthy, and doing great out there in the wild. Nature is so resilient.

God’s creation speaks and is often called ‘God’ Second Book’.

There is a beautiful energetic balance happening on my deck today bringing blessing upon blessing. I have a family of three Steller's Jays hanging out, bringing fast-paced, vocal, clever, and playful energy and it was contrasted with a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, bringing quiet depth, timeless rhythm, focus, and structural stability. Both birds are symbols of protection, courage, and perseverance because they never give up until they get what they need.

My home has essentially been chosen as a sacred sanctuary for many creatures, but today is special as two of the most intelligent, striking bird species in the forest, are reflecting that this space is highly protected, emotionally grounded, and spiritually vibrant. A message of encouragement from God’s second book.

Romans 1:20 tells us that God’s "invisible attributes" (His eternal power and divine nature) are clearly seen and understood through the visible things He has made. 💕💕
