Hey everyone!
Over the past year, we’ve been very lenient with several of our studio policies, and we truly appreciate everyone who chooses to rent our space. In order to keep the studio running smoothly and maintain the quality of our equipment for all renters, we need to reinforce a few important expectations moving forward.
Recently, we’ve noticed:
- Studio lights being left on or charging
- Props not being returned to their original locations
- Excessive wear and tear on backdrops
- The studio being left messy after sessions
We currently do not charge additional fees for the use of lighting, props, or backdrops, and we’d like to keep it that way. However, we ask that everyone please be respectful and mindful when using the studio and its equipment. Many days we have back-to-back rentals and sessions, which means we often do not have time to clean or reset the space between bookings.
Please review the following studio expectations and fees carefully:
• Studio Lights
All studio lights must be turned off and unplugged after use. Lights should not be left charging, as this damages the batteries. Replacement batteries cost approximately $500, and renters will be responsible for replacement costs if damage occurs due to improper use.
• Backdrop Damage
Normal dirt on the bottom portion of backdrops is understandable. However, if a backdrop is torn, marked on, or excessively damaged—especially on the visible upper portion—a $50 damage fee will be charged. Each backdrop costs approximately $100 to replace.
• Cleaning & Resetting the Studio
All props, furniture, and equipment must be returned to their original locations before leaving. If the studio is left excessively messy or requires additional cleanup/resetting, a cleaning fee may be charged.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding. Our goal is to continue providing a clean, professional, and well-maintained space for all renters to enjoy. Thank you for helping us take care of the studio!
