We had such a great time celebrating Brendyn's BBQ's 6th Birthday this year! 🎉🍖

We were honored to photograph their 5th anniversary celebration last year, and somehow this year's event was just as much fun—if not more!

There was an incredible turnout of people excited to celebrate, enjoy some amazing food, and support a local business that has become a staple in the Nacogdoches community. The atmosphere was full of good food, great people, and plenty of hometown pride!

One of my favorite things about events like this is seeing a community come together to support businesses that truly deserve it, and Brendyn's BBQ is definitely one of those places. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving incredible food are a big part of why they've been so successful over the last six years.

Congratulations to the entire Brendyn's BBQ team on this milestone! Thank you for letting us be a small part of the celebration once again.

Now that they’ve shared their exciting news, I can finally share these photos too... they're having a baby! 🤍👶

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to walk alongside my clients through so many of life's biggest milestones. I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple's engagement session, their wedding day, and now this exciting new chapter as they prepare to become parents.

This session was so easy, relaxed, and full of joy. You can just feel how excited they are for the adventure ahead, and it was such an honor to capture these memories for them.

Congratulations again to this incredibly deserving mom and dad! I am so excited for your growing family and for all the love this sweet little one is already surrounded by. And let's not forget that this baby is coming into the world with the very best big brother waiting to welcome them. 💙

There are some projects that are special because of the photos, and then there are projects that are special because of the story behind them.

Recently, I had the privilege of photographing Taylor as she prepares to release a worship song that has been on her heart for a long time. She shared with me that she wrestled with whether or not to write and release it, but after much prayer and plenty of nudges from God, she finally stepped out in faith and decided to share it with the world.

Not only was I honored to create these promotional images for her, but I was also fortunate enough to hear the song before its release. And wow. It's powerful, inspiring, and beautifully written.

It's always amazing to watch someone use their gifts and talents to share their faith and encourage others, and I have no doubt this song is going to touch a lot of hearts.

Thank you, Taylor, for trusting me to be a small part of this journey. I cannot wait for everyone to hear what you've created. ❤️

What a beautiful day celebrating these two! 🤍

From the moment the day began at The Fredonia Hotel & Convention Center, it was clear that this wedding was all about the people who matter most. Ceremony in the bride's family church, Christ Episcopal Church in Nacogdoches, every part of the day felt meaningful, personal, and full of love.

The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and centered on making memories with family and friends. There were so many sweet moments, plenty of laughter, happy tears, and a dance floor that stayed busy all night long at Tuxedo Springs!

Most of all, this day perfectly reflected the bride and groom—kind, genuine, and surrounded by people who adore them. It was such an honor to capture every hug, laugh, and celebration along the way.

This family session was such a sweet one! 🤍

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this wonderful family and their three kiddos, and let me tell you—they each had the best little personalities! From the silly moments to the sweet smiles, they kept me laughing the entire session and made my job so much fun.

One of my favorite things about family photography is capturing the unique dynamic that makes each family special, and this crew had so much love and joy between them. The kids were full of energy, curiosity, and charm, which always makes for some of the most genuine photos.

I absolutely loved getting to spend time with and photograph this family. Sessions like this are such a great reminder that the most meaningful images aren't about perfect poses—they're about connection, laughter, and preserving this season of life exactly as it is.

We are FINALLY getting to share this wedding video, and it was so worth the wait. 🤍✨

This wedding was the perfect mix of classy, elegant, and SO much fun. From the beautiful details to the energy on the dance floor, the entire day was just incredible from start to finish. But more than anything, you could truly feel the love surrounding this amazing couple all day long.

Every person there showed up ready to celebrate them, support them, and just soak in every moment together, and those are always some of our favorite weddings to capture. The genuine emotion, laughter, happy tears, and excitement made this such a special one for us to look back on while editing.

We absolutely loved getting to be part of this day and are so excited to finally share a little glimpse into it with all of you. 🤍🎥

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest graduation session for a beautiful young lady who will be graduating as valedictorian of her high school 🎓✨

She was so kind and quiet at first, but as we walked around the Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden in Nacogdoches, she really started to come out of her shell, and by the end of the session we were laughing and having such a great time together.

Even though it wasn’t quite azalea season, there were still so many pretty flowers around, and honestly the whole setting fit her sweet and gentle demeanor perfectly 🌸

Huge congratulations to this amazing graduate! Being valedictorian is such an incredible accomplishment, and I know she has such a bright future ahead of her 💛

Recently, I had a friend reach out to me about a photo session request from her friend that was a little different than what we normally do—but honestly, it turned into one of the sweetest shoots 💛

This beautiful bride is getting married later this month in Austin, but unfortunately her grandma, who lives here locally, isn’t well enough to make the trip for the wedding. So they decided to do a special session before the big day so they could still have those precious memories together captured in photos.

It was such a meaningful reminder that photography is about so much more than just taking pretty pictures. It’s about preserving moments, relationships, and memories that will be treasured forever. Getting to photograph the love between them was truly an honor.

And as a fun little bonus, we found out her family literally lives right behind our house, which made the whole experience feel even more special and connected 🥹

Definitely one of the sweetest and most heartfelt sessions I’ve had the privilege to photograph.

One of the coolest parts about this whole experience with The Beverly Hillbillies: The Musical was getting to capture it from both sides of the stage 🎭📸

I (Meghan) had the absolute joy of playing Ellie Mae, while Cody (our set designer and backstage cast wrangler) got to photograph our dress rehearsal and capture all the fun, chaos, and special moments that make theater so magical behind the scenes.

This production was such a wonderful experience for us, and we’re always so thankful anytime we get the opportunity to work with Angelina Community Theatre. Community theater truly brings together some amazing people, and we’re so grateful to have been a part of it! 💛
