Merry Christmas to all! Hoping everyone has a great holiday season.

I went out to take a timelapse of the Leonids meteor shower. I planned on taking a two hour timelapse, but unfortunately I had to cut it a half an hour short. My fingers and toes were getting cold and I couldn’t bear the cold much longer.

My thoughts:
This would have been a much better picture if I was able to move back. I wish I didn't cut off part of the mane and the back of the zebra. Unfortunately I had my long telephoto lens all the way zoomed out and was unable to move back because this was also part of the open air safari tour we went on awhile back. Although I do like how I caught the motion of it's leg with the head down, like it's going to charge.

Sometimes I can be super critical of my own work.

Did you know:
The oryx is one of largest antelope species native to Africa. However I did not travel to Africa to get this picture. I drove to a place called The Wilds in Ohio and went on an open air safari.

From what I've read online the left is the female and the right is the male. The females have longer horns then the males.

Random fact about me: I am not a morning person. I definitely like staying up late whether it's for a sunset or to photograph meteor showers or just watch a movie late into the night. However, I woke up early to grab this beautiful sunrise.

I would love to go back to Pensacola beach but not during the winter. However this vacation was still better than spending winter in Ohio.
