Today campus was lively. Families out walking, students rushing from point A to B, Prospective students leisurely taking in all the sights to be had. It was as though campus was alive, electric, buzzing with activity. A lone athlete sweating through it, his music an anthem to motivate him pressing on. 🎶

Morning walks have been such a wonderful start to the day. I started this about a month ago, at least one walk around campus to get the blood pumping.

What it has turned into is a sanctuary. Its peaceful. Serene. If I encounter any of our students on campus, they are polite and smile. It has begun to heal something for me mentally.

I encourage you to take a minute to slow down. Look up. Look at the world around you. We get so caught up in the day to day, the screens, the chaos that we hardly look past the end of the phone in our hand.

My challenge for you today is to take a picture or two. Share it if you like, or keep it for yourself to admire. But take a moment to look around at the world beyond.
