Class of 2026 👆

Loving this Senior session from last week at Texas Tech. Funny enough, I’d actually met Gabe before while he was doing his pharmacy rounds at Carillon. We mostly just crossed paths in clinical meetings and around the building, but it’s always cool when life reconnects people later on. ✨

We got to hit all the classic Tech spots — the Chem building, Soapsuds statue, and finished with popping a bottle at the crest. 🥳

Congratulations Gabe! You worked really freaking hard to get here!

Senior Session with Caroline 🎞️

If this session taught me one thing, it's that I truly want to get to know my clients. Yes, stop and show me your childhood home. Of course I want to meet your cat! And please, wear the Converses you love!!!

There’s always a place for "quick and easy" photos, but taking the time to express yourself makes your pictures worth a thousand words. 🤍

2007… Oh, what a time. 🎞️

I recently gained access to my mom’s old Shutterfly account, and it was like opening a time capsule of her wedding day. As a photographer today, I’ll be honest... the editing was definitely a choice. And the trends? They scream 2000s.

As a daughter, these photos mean everything. And are perhaps iconic. 💅🏻

It’s been almost 20 years. Some of the faces in these frames are no longer with us. A lot of these memories have faded. It’s a humbling reminder that one day, the photos might be all you have left.

Cherish your memories. Live in the moment. And keep taking the pictures, even if the "trends" don't age perfectly. They aren't just files; they’re a part of your story. ✨

"Snow-mageddon" starts tomorrow? Challenge accepted. 🌨️

I’m currently packing up to head out a day early so I can beat the storm for an out-of-town wedding. Rain, shine, or blizzard, if I’m booked, I’m showing up. I want my couples to have total peace of mind that I’m in their corner no matter what the weather does.

I’ve got plenty of "extreme weather" stories from living/working in Northern California. But this one is the -7° wind chill wedding I did in Breckenridge last year! 🥶

Does everyone work in these conditions? Probably not. But for my clients? Always! 💍🙌

Isn't he perfect? 🌙

If you know me, you KNOW I’m Type A planner. Weddings are my bread and butter; with photo + video timelines planned down to the minute, every moment accounted for.

So when someone asked me (many moons ago) to do a newborn session… let’s just say I was in for a surprise. 😅

Babies do not run on timelines or shot-lists. Newborn sessions ebb, flow, pause, restart, and everything in between. And even after 7 years, they still make me a little nervous.

But this little boy? Absolute perfection. He might actually be curing my fear of newborn sessions one tiny yawn at a time.

Thank you again to the Jeffries family for trusting me. Y'all are truly one of my favorite families I’ve gotten to know over the years. 🤍

I got to take couple photos for my sweet friends in Lubbock yesterday. We had to pivot locations last minute because of the rain, but wow — this new spot did not disappoint.
