Please tell me I’m not the only photographer with a running list of all the little creative ideas I’m just waiting for the right person to bring to life.

I’ve had this vision in my head for a while a sweet girl with tiny freckles, a beautiful flower crown, and the most dreamy, whimsical feel. Then, during a newborn session, I turned around and saw Harper and Haven smiling at me and thought, “Oh my gosh they’re my models!”

Katie, thank you so much for letting me bring this little vision to life with your precious girls. We made the flower crowns, brought out my camera, and created something so special. 🤍

And if I ever tell you, “I have an idea… and you’re the person I need,” just know I’ve probably been waiting a LONG time for you

Sweet little girl was about 4 weeks old for her newborn session, and I just wanted to remind all the new parents out there that there isn’t a tiny window for newborn photos.

Yes, it’s often easiest around 10–14 days old, but life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes there are medical complications, NICU stays, recovery time, or you simply need a little longer to settle in and that’s completely okay.

Babies who are 4–6 weeks old can still have absolutely beautiful newborn sessions. Don’t worry if you feel like you’ve missed your chance. You haven’t.

The most important thing is capturing this sweet season, no matter when it happens. 🤍

Some of the sweetest moments happen when babies are wide awake, making eye contact, stretching, or showing off their little personalities. Whether your baby sleeps through the session or stays awake for part of it, we’ll capture beautiful memories you’ll cherish forever.
