As we come to the end of Hispanic Heritage Month, I wanted to highlight this incredible woman right here!

Aliscia has held several last names—from Sanchez, Howard, and Martinez to finally becoming a Brorman. Though she spent her time in the foster system with families of different cultures, she has always proudly held onto her Hispanic roots. She’s also a self-proclaimed washing machine expert, inspired by her idol, Selena!

Aliscia is currently pursuing her MBA and is a first-generation college graduate, defying the statistic that only 3% of foster youth earn a college degree. Today, she is a mom, small business owner, serial entrepreneur, and, her personal favorite, a keynote speaker. Aliscia has spoken all over the United States, helping to raise over $2 million for organizations that support children in foster care.

In every home she was placed in, Aliscia brought along the spice of her Hispanic culture—from the food to the music! Now, she’s raising her son on frijoles, homemade tortillas (from Rosa’s), and her personal favorite: constant dance parties featuring her son’s favorite song by the Kumbia Kings, “Boom Boom!

Wanted to wish Nevaeh a happy birthday! Hope you have the best day! 🤘🏼

I am so proud of this woman right here. At 63, she’s still bringing home the hardware! Back in 2021, I competed in my first bodybuilding show next to Linda, but our journey goes back even further. After helping Linda win her IFBB Pro card, we’ve been on a mission to reach the ultimate goal—the Olympia!
