September 21, 2019 is without a doubt a day I shall never forget. It's the day reality slapped me in the face, hard. We've all seen the signs, it's the ones holding them that we seldom look at though. Who are they? How did they get here? What happened to them? The homeless community is growing and it's something that can no longer be ignored. Thankfully there are wonderful places such as: Alfred-Washburn Center, Sean's Outpost, Food Not Bombs Pensacola, and FUHC: Feeding the Urban Homeless Community that helps.

FUHC Fest is an annual two day charity event where all proceeds go to feeding, clothing, and helping the local homeless. While this year was personally my first, it's the charity's third.

Two days of entertainment, raffles, comedy, and art auctions, 100% of the proceeds go to helping the local community.

There were so many amazing people at this event. Homeless or no, everyone was greeted with a smile and helping hand. This is the kind of love you (sadly) do not get to witness firsthand anymore. Helping your neighbor is something that we've seemed to forgotten along the way. Perhaps though, all is not lost for I am looking forward to next year's event all the more.

To all the wonderful people involved, I personally would like to thank each and every one of you that helped. Thank you, truly.

Returning behind the camera after what seems like an eternity always presents with certain challenges, especially the curiosity as whether or not the eye is still there. Thankfully I’m happy to report, it is!

Yesterday’s spooky shoot with Jackie was absolutely amazing and so much fun. The anticipation to begin editing was too strong so therefore I edited some into the night.
