We are going to be completely vulnerable with you today.
We recently shared that due to unexpected board resignations, our funds were frozen, leaving us with exactly $0 to cover our upcoming Glow Forward Walk & Festival at Luther George Park.
So far, we haven't received any donations toward saving the event.
We know times are incredibly tight for everyone. But the reality is setting in: we have just 3 days left. If we cannot raise $1,336.92 by this Friday, May 22nd, we have to make the devastating call to cancel.
The Glow Forward event is so much more than just a gathering. For the veterans and first responders who rely on our mobility and medical alert dogs, it’s a space of accessibility and pride. For our MST survivors, it is a safe, fiercely guarded community of healing and support. For our dedicated handlers and trainers, it is a testament to the thousands of hours poured into public access training and psychiatric task work. It is a night of connection for people who often feel isolated.
We cannot let the lights go out on them.
We need a community miracle, and we are asking for a grassroots effort:
If 27 people or local businesses sponsor us for $50, we are saved.
If 53 people donate $25, the festival is back on.
If 133 people can spare just $10, we meet our goal.
