My baby boy. He’s growing up so fast! A couple weeks ago we went apple picking. It used to be a yearly tradition but the last year or two we didn’t make it to the orchards because of sports and other activities that fill our weekends. I’m so glad we got out there this year and that I took my camera with me even though only one kiddo went with us🍎

Eli participated in his first triathlon last weekend! He swam 150 meters, biked 3 miles and ran 1.5 miles. He did great and we are so proud of him for trying something new and out of his comfort zone.

We had planned to go to the beach today but even the best laid plans go awry sometimes. As it turned out the beach closed at noon due to the Antares rocket launch (so cool!) but we showed up just before noon and got in so we found a picnic table ate our packed lunch and hunted for shells and snails in some nearby water. Then a few hours later we got to watch the rocket launch from our campsite! (See my stories for my terrible job trying to record the launch while watching it in person 😆🙈).
