Shook the dust off from taking photos of someone other than the wife and kiddos thanks to Shannon. Jumped at the offer to take some Senior photos of Kylie out at Skelly's sunflower fields. Was a fun time and ended up with way more photos than I thought I was going to take. Truly proud of the photos that came from this session. Here are a few highlights from the session. More to come.

Hello all. Its been some time. Have some Senior photos to share but just want to show a perfect example how photographers just don't take pictures and that's the end of it. There are endless hours in front of a computer working on photos to bring a story to them or fixing things here and there. I stay away from photoshop and only use Lightroom. In this photo there was no light outside and I hadn't changed my settings since the last photo we took was about 25 min prior. I took the photo and never looked at it until I got home. Was devastated that the picture was just shadows. Worked on it for a bit and was able to save the photo without losing almost any quality. Happy with the outcome.

Things have been pretty slow since I posted last. I got my new lens and love it but my old computer was keeping me from enjoying it. Took forever for photos to render while editing them and even longer to export them. Sometimes hours.

So I am happy to announce after 10 years I finally bought a nice, new, powerful computer to edit photos faster. New lens and new computer means I am ready to start taking photos for clients again.
