1. May 23, 2026, Saturday, Rochelle Railroad Park, 124 N. 9th Avenue, Rochelle, starting at 10 a.m. There is a gift shop there and lots of vantage points for watching (and photographing) trains. 🚂

2. May 25, 2026, Monday, Unofficial Outing - Pecatoncia Memorial Day Parade. Starts at 2:00pm. Bring chair to sit in front of Rosie's Cafe on Main Street.

Don't forget to check to calendar for upcoming meetings and events.

Located at the junction of two major railroads in Rochelle, Il, and open 24 hours a day, the Rochelle Railroad Park is a real “hot spot” for train watching from the observation area.

The Kids & Pets Workshop was amazing last night at the monthly club meeting! It was just as you would expect...unpredictable, chaotic and so fun! The evening unfolded before our eyes and we had the opportunity to create exciting images to build a body of work. You had to get the right angle, with the right exposure, at the right time. And even while I worked on getting those elements, I still need help from Photoshop. My plan is to merge the two family photos for an overall "Kerrfect" image. Stay tuned...

I am sad to share with all of you that Steve Edwards Photography has passed away on Tuesday, from Pancreatic Cancer. Steve was a huge part of the Rockford Photo Club for many years, as well as a big part of the Beloit Art Center Photo Club. The celebration of life will be held at a later date. Our sincere condolences to the family.
