I am a visual storyteller. I first picked up a camera when I was about 9 years old. It was my mother’s Kodak Brownie.

The next Christmas I got a camera of my own—a Kodak Hawkeye 44 instamatic. I began documenting life on the family farm. Some of those photos still show up on social media to this day. I was a photographer for the school paper when I was in college. I moved to Colorado in 1986. Since then, I have wandered the western United States as a skier, mountaineer, climber, firefighter and real estate apprai

ser, always with camera in hand. I have augmented my experience with dozens of photography classes and workshops. I started shooting professionally in 2018. I am also a writer, video producer and filmmaker. I have a passion for the outdoors. Most of the “magic moments” in my life have happened in the outdoors. I also have a deep love for the fire service, history, music, aviation and the American west. My photo and video work centers around these subjects.
