I will never forget when this wonderful woman, Susan, and her two dogs, Oscar and Izzie, approached me at the park to take some photos. It was another beautiful day in Colorado and it just so happened that these amazing flowers where in full bloom.

I love the combination of the strong pose of Oscar, a Schnauzer, and the stunning colors of the flowers. It makes for a beautiful picture on their wall.

This is Nellie, a sweet 15 year old Australian Shepherd - Border Collie mix.
I was able to capture this peaceful moment of her at her busy home. She lives with her parents, 4 boys and 2 cats. No wonder she was taking a break. Her family now treasures this image in the home.

I call this "The Hunt"

Sometimes you look at an image and it just touches your heart. It may be the subject, the scene, the colors, the memory or many other things. This is one of those pictures for me.

I love seeing Lego on "The Hunt". He looks strong, intense and on the move. The color from the sunrise adds the perfect glow and the right amount of warmth. I am so thankful that I was able to capture this magnificent fall morning of Lego traipsing through the tall grass so I can share it with you.

I call this Sunrise Explosion!

I will never forget this morning. The sky was magnificent. The colors, the motion, the reflection, and the stillness of the water made for a perfect picture.

Lego and I were walking by the lake when all this beauty erupted on the scene. To my surprise Lego went into the water where he stopped to watch and listen to the birds. This was again picture perfect!

Capturing special moments like this is why I love photography. It is incredible to be able to make a moment in time last a lifetime.
