Since April 1st a migration of 20 giant pink snails from Woodland Farms in Goshen, KY to 21C Museum Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY has been underway. The 35 mile race of snails is raising awareness and money for Norton Cancer Institute’s Breast Health Program. It will end at the 21c Museum Hotel Louisville hosted ā€œSteve’s Derby Eveā€ party on May 1st.

Each snail has a QR that links to the art installation’s website with a name and personality trait for the snails. Captured in these photos at Waterfront Park is Savannah the Snail who is the belle of the ball.

You can learn more about the roaming art installation and how you can support Norton Cancer Institute’s Breast Health Program starting on Instagram at . Where there is also a link to their snail tracker.
