You don't have to go far to find what makes Kentucky special.

Just outside Lexington, the rolling hills, wooden fences, and grazing horses remind you why this part of the Bluegrass is known around the world. There are hundreds of horse farms throughout the Lexington area, and scenes like this are part of what makes Kentucky's landscape so unique.

Sometimes the best views aren't famous landmarks. They're the quiet places along a back road where time seems to slow down for a minute.

Today I rolled up on a couple standing in the middle of the highway, stopping traffic to help a snapping turtle safely cross the road. 🐢💚
