Welcome to Jay May Photography where we specialize in wedding, portrait, celebration, corporate and convention photography services in the Louisville KY area.

Photography has been part of Jay May’s life since the day he was born. His parents were both photographers and he often helped out in their home studio while he was growing up. This on-the-job experience not only honed his technical expertise, it taught him the importance of people skills and good communication in producing top-notch photos while making the experience enjoyable for everyone. 95, he started Jay May Photography, specializing in wedding photography. Though weddings remain his primary focus, he has since added portrait, celebration and corporate and convention photography to his professional services. WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Capturing the magic and mood of your wedding day in high-quality photos you’ll treasure for years is a big part of the service that Jay May Photography provides. But equally as important is making your experience as fun and as stress-free as possible. A variety of packages are available, including engagement portraits. SENIOR PORTRAITS
Senior portraits are more than just a rite of passage. Your portrait will still be around at high school reunions for decades to come. Jay May Photography’s 90-minute senior portrait session package includes three locations, clothing changes and a variety of poses, giving you many options to choose from when making that all-important yearbook decision. FAMILY PORTRAITS, BABY PORTRAITS , MATERNITY PORTRAITS & SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS
Make sure your family, baby or maternity portrait is unique as you are by having Jay May Photography shoot it at a local park or landmark or at your home. On-location photography is one his specialties. You’ll be proud to share these portraits with relatives and display them on your desk or great room wall. Studio sessions are also available. Jay May Photography can also provide photo coverage of your next special celebration, whether it’s a baptism, bar or bat mitzvah, milestone birthday or anniversary. CORPORATE & CONVENTION PHOTOGRAPHY
Jay May Photography offers a variety of services to corporate clients, including head shots of key personnel, website photography, special event coverage and photos for newsletters and media releases. Head shots can be taken at your place of business in the office setting or with a backdrop. Corporate clients currently include law firms, construction companies, insurance agencies, restaurants and Kosair Charities. May is also experienced in convention photography and for many years has served as the official photographer for the National Funeral Directors Association’s annual convention, where he provides on-location coverage of the opening ceremonies, banquet, workshops, speakers and members.

I don't often use FB as a marketing tool, but this senior session with Caroline was exceptional. The fall colors were amazing, and Caroline was the perfect subject on this gorgeous fall day.

What a fantastic day!!! Cassidy and Joe were so wonderful to work with, and what a fun wedding party!! I know it is always going to be a fun event when the Bauers are involved, but the Schraffenbergers brought just as much. Great fun people on both sides. Fantastic event!
