With most of our planned 2020 photography events being cancelled, we challenged ourselves with some projects around the house. We took a 170 sq ft room and converted it into a comfortable guest space that also works as an office, crafting space, and fully functioning home photography studio. We have affectionately dubbed it our . Take a look at our Instagram Story () to see the progress so far.

After conducting a series of experiments on Heda, our masked and wigged styrofoam head, Nathan kindly stepped in front of the camera to be our first human subject.

Cycling is a hard sport. It is physically and emotionally demanding, and will take everything you have to give and more. For some it’s even harder. If your appearance makes you stand out, it can be difficult to feel like you belong. We see you, and we value your contributions. We need to try our best to understand the headwinds you are facing, the steep grades that you are climbing, and the pain you are feeling. We see you, and believe that your lives matter.

If you are upset about the deaths of George Lloyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and other African American men and women and want to learn more about the historical struggles of African-Americans, Howard Zinn 1922 - 2010 "A People’s History of the United States" https://www.zinnedproject.org/materials/peoples-history-of-the-united-states (Chapters 9 and 17) is a good place to start.
If you want to support organizations fighting for civil rights for all Americans, then the Southern Poverty Law Center , the NAACP , and the American Civil Liberties Union ( ACLU ) could use your help.

We’ve taken advantage of the downtime to do some much needed maintenance on our photo archives.

We’ve removed close to a terabyte of duplicate files, fully migrated historical Aperture libraries to Lightroom, and condensed down to a single catalog of 80,000+ images.

We thought we would share some of the photos that we have rediscovered that had not previously seen the light of day.

Nathan's motto has always been “To get the shot that no one else will get you have to go where no one else will go.” Fortunately for us I (Morleigh) am usually on hand to document his escapades and if necessary run interference 🙂.

We spent the weekend photographing and hanging out with friends at the Indy Cycloplex - home of the Major Taylor Velodrome. This was the first time we have attended the Ohio Valley Cyclo-Cross (OVCX) event and it did not disappoint. The UCI Cyclo-cross C2 race had a challenging course that snaked it's way through and around the Marian University Cycling Team velodrome with two very steep run-ups to keep things interesting even without the mud that has plagued our local cx races this season.

For two years we've had the incredible fortune and pleasure of following the team around the country working to tell their stories. There have been good races and bad, but nothing ever dampened their resolve or diminished their love and commitment for each other.

As good as they are on the bike, they are even better people off. Mothers, business owners, PHD students, designers and coaches. Each racer and staff member contributed to the whole that is .

The team may have reached it's natural conclusion, but this family of people in love with cycling have made their mark. We will miss spending our our spring and summer chasing them from race to race.

Keep the rubber side down Minties. You truly are Super.

The 2019 Colorado Classic presented by VF Corporation, August 22-25, will be the only UCI standalone women’s stage race in the Western hemisphere this year. A hundred of the world’s best cyclists from 16 teams will converge on the mountains and urban jungles of Colorado to compete for a prize purse nearly four times larger than the 2018 women’s purse. Riders will contest four stages race over challenging terrain, starting in Steamboat Springs, moving to Avon, dropping down into Golden and finishing in Denver.

2 weeks ago Facebook informed me that we haven't shared anything with our followers in over a month. Guilty as charged!

For the last couple of years we have been on the road February - September following the USA Cycling Pro Road Tour. Our 2019 season began in California at the Redlands Bicycle Classic. April brought us to Arkansas to shoot at the Joe Martin Stage Race. This month we are in New Mexico at the Tour of the Gila.

We have been enjoying our own sweet flavor of , and have had some amazing adventures.

If you're at a race and you spot a guy in a camo bowie perched somewhere sketchy, wave and say "Hi". Mor will be on the opposite side of the course, on solid ground, trying to make art with her camera.

Training camp with Hagens Berman Supermint Pro Cycling Team wraps up today and tomorrow we kick off the 2019 road season with the White Mountain Road Club Valley of the Sun Stage Race. It's going to be a great year!
