When the question is “do you wanna sneak out of your reception for sunset photos!?”
The answer is “YES!!!” 🌞

Maggie and Caleb had the most beautiful wedding last weekend and dang the sun was really showing off for them! You’d never guess that it felt like 10 degrees outside- they’re absolute champs for braving the cold- buuuuuut I’d say it was well worth it 🔥

✨PSA: Your session should feel like a date✨

Think about what you like to do together- Places, activities, food, drinks, outings, etc.- and include some of those things! Your photos will feel so much more like *you* and you’ll have a lot more fun when you approach your session with the mindset of “it’s a date” rather than “we’re just going to take a bunch of photos.”

Think of it as a date, focus on each other, have FUN together, and I'll take care of the rest 🖤

In KY, you can’t typically plan ahead for a snowy session- let alone one with a gorgeous sunset- but when the stars align and it works out... holy WOW ❄️

Rachel & Jake drove in from Lexington to brave the 20-something degree weather with me for their engagement session last weekend, and boy I'm glad they did! They have so much fun together and are constantly making each other laugh. It's a true joy to spend time with them, and their happiness is literally contagious. I think we were all complaining about our cheeks hurting from laughing by the end of the evening, and had so much fun we (almost) forgot about the cold 🖤
