Just a few months ago, I went to visit my best friend and meet her baby boy in Fort Myers and shot some last minute photos while I was there. Last week, a Category 4 (almost 5) hurricane whirled through their town and surrounding areas. I had been texting her checking in on their family throughout the day then iMessages started to send as texts with no response. Fear began to set in as time went on. The next day, I woke up to a text that they were safe. They were thankfully protected and their homes had little damage, but there are SO many others who truly lost everything. My heart aches for these families, as I cannot even begin to imagine how they feel. I’m so grateful for the Lord’s protection over and her family. But please be thinking and praying for the people of SW Florida!
