Hey guys! I rarely show my face on these little squares, I prefer to show my work for you guys instead. 🤷🏻♀️😆 But, it’s been a loooooong time since I’ve introduced myself and just updated my headshots, so here we go! I’m Shaelyne, and since I get asked this a lot - yes, my last name really is Meadows! I’m the owner/lead photographer of Shaelyne Meadows Photography. I first fell in love with photography as a teacher when I taught high school art and photography 12 years ago. I was fresh out of college and had no training in photography or photoshop, but I was asked to teach the course and learned SO much in the process and enjoyed it so much I kept learning more about the process. I first started this business very casually photographing my friends’ families and babies, which eventually led to me working for two other wedding photographers, and then I decided to lead as a photographer for my own weddings.
I love spending quality time with people, but I’m actually an introvert by nature. One of my favorite things to do is go hiking in the summer. And if I have to pick a favorite part of weddings...it’s the reception when guests and family let their guards down and they dance like crazy!
My husband, Kyle, and I have known each other since we were 13 years old and been married almost 15 years! We have three children together, Warren - age 5, Jovie - age 8, and Liam - age 11. We also have a cat named Rosie and we are on the lookout to adopt a dog soon.
