the hand on the back. the glance across the room. your grandma crying in the corner. the way you two move when you forget someone is watching.

Film isn’t perfect.

It misses focus sometimes. It catches light in unexpected ways. The grain shows up where digital would smooth everything over.

And somehow, that’s exactly why it feels like a wedding day.

No timeline goes exactly as planned. Hair falls out of place. Someone cries before they’re supposed to. The flowers wilt a little. The sun disappears behind a cloud.

None of it takes away from the story.

It becomes the story.

Maybe that’s why I keep coming back to film. Not because it’s flawless, but because it reminds me that the most meaningful moments rarely are.
