Sometimes I hear people lament about how we are doomed with this younger generation. That's not true. There are a lot of wonderful young people out there who, quite frankly, should already be in charge of something.
This young man is one of them, and he happens to be my neighbor. His only fault in life isn't even really his fault. His dad is a Cowboys fan, but he can't help that. You can't always get your parents to make good decisions.
If my kids grow up to be a fraction of the human that Thomas Vinson is right now, I will be able to say that I did my job as a parent! He's hard working, respectful and fun to be around.
I had the honor of doing his senior photos and in the process capture some cool photos of his hobby, knife/sword forging.
