I’ve seen a lot of conversations lately about AI and sharing pictures of our kids online, and honestly, I’ve been thinking about it a lot. 🤍

As a mom and a photographer, I completely understand why some parents don’t want pictures of their babies shared online. Especially with how much AI has changed things. I would never want anyone to feel like they have to say yes just because I’m their photographer.

At the same time, sharing my work is a really big part of how I’m able to grow my little photography business. When you’re looking for a photographer, you want to see their work. You want to see the families, the babies, the messy cake smashes, the little personalities, and the real moments.

Those are the things I love capturing.

So yes, I will continue sharing my work, including pictures of the sweet babies and families I get to photograph — but only when I have permission to do so. ❤️

If you don’t want me to share your child’s face, PLEASE just tell me. You never have to explain yourself to me. I will never be offended, and I will never make you feel bad about it.

And if you’re okay with me sharing but would rather your baby not be recognizable, I’m completely happy to share little hands, tiny toes, details, the back of their head, or whatever you’re comfortable with.

I’m so incredibly grateful that you trust me with these memories in the first place. I know how special these pictures are because I’m a mom too. These are moments you can’t get back, and it means so much to me that you let me be the one to capture them for you. 🥹🤍
