Surprise proposal in a movie theater! I absolutely adored this idea and set-up from last year. Not only did Sydney have a short movie made but she had the whole family join in for the surprise. Somehow, this was the first time I had ever photographed a proposal in a movie theater (even though I have done engagement sessions in them). Cheers to love + lots of popcorn!

Finally starting to share some of my 2025 sessions, though I may not get to all of them.

This maternity session with Kayla and Dominique was photographed during peak fall in southern Indiana (which is typically early November, not October).

This past fall was easily the busiest season I’ve had in my 16+ years of business. I’m endlessly grateful and also very ready for the slower pace that winter brings.

Over halfway through the wedding season my friends!

I’ve been sending previews and working hard every single weekend, capturing all the love. Thanks to my husband, Matt () for being 2nd photo all these years (over 7yrs now) and the new addition to the team is my friend Chelsea () capturing some BTS.

Seen in the images are Theresa and Mark, right after their intimate ceremony with only a few special guests. A truly beautiful and magical fall day.

Reminder to capture the day to day and document your own life. It doesn’t have to be perfect and you don’t always need professional photos. When you do feel like getting some done, I’ll be here. Professional photos can mean different things, whether that entails a cute little studio mini session (similar to these with my daughter), a candid and relaxed hangout photo session at your home, or going on a walk at a local park.

Don’t mind me though, I’m just feeling all the love and sappiness after having late night chats with Matt over how fast time goes by and how much we adore our own kid. Also, it was about time to get back to the social media posting I guess, so it might as well be something truly personal to me.

Last month I had the opportunity to drive to Birmingham, Alabama and photograph this sweet day for Alina and Ben. Their closest friends and family were in attendance, so the entire day I was able to capture tons of candid snapshots and some truly beautiful and casual portraits of them.
