I’ve been reflecting on the last year and what’s to come for business and these two photos from my last 2025 wedding accurately portray my emotions. I have absolutely loving, fuzzy, feel-good emotions about all that 2025 had in store (just like the way Beth is looking at Tom here 🥰). And I’m also excited to have the year completed and moving on to what’s next (just like post the ceremony excitement at a wedding)! The Lord has been putting the word gratitude on my heart a lot lately. I’m just beyond thankful for it all. What a privilege it is to have a job I love: A job that celebrates legacy, family, and marriage and a community of fellow creatives who encourage and empower each other. Have you been overly reflective this year too or it is just me? I’d love to know! Thanks for being here. 💜

Not all grooms want attention on the wedding day (I know my groom didn’t! 😅) but when the groom is open to my ideas, I take advantage and try some fun things. I love these grooms details and moments from those anticipatory hours just before the ceremony! From the carefully curated details, poured beverages, serious faces, goofiness, classic portraits, and everything in between, the groom is an important part of the wedding day story too. 🤵🏻‍♂️⌚️🍻

Storytelling without words is an art. The small moments and details matter. What can you tell from these photos?

What I see: Effortlessly beautiful women in gowns draping and flowing romantically in a breeze. Overcast skies, but a sense of absolute pure joy even with dirty dress hems and trains. A timelessly lovely color palette that makes you wonder was this last week or 9 years ago? A story of love and joy and a celebration at Peaks of Otter Lodge.

Absolutely in love with this garden tea party reception design. The older I get, the more of an appreciation I have for fine china. It’s become one of my favorite parts of a table design (I’ve also become a cloth napkin connoisseur). These floral patterns had me wishing this was my everyday plates at home.
