✨ Exciting Changes Ahead! ✨

When I created Roots & Anchors Heirloom Photography 5 years ago, it was inspired by the kind of images I’ve always loved to create—unposed, natural, and authentic storytelling photography that truly reflects the beauty of life and individuality.

But as I’ve grown, I’ve realized something important: the heart of this brand has always been me. My passion for crafting timeless images and connecting with each of you has always been what drives this journey.

So, I’ve decided to simplify and step fully into the name I’ve had all along—my own name. It’s a return to the core of what I do and who I am. This change reflects not just the work I've been creating for 20+ years, but the artist behind it, too.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and I can’t wait to share the next chapter with you under a name that feels truer than ever.

Does anyone else feel like 2024 just kinda… ran away?? *read on..*
Seriously, where did this year go? I’ve done a lot this year, and posted very little! I’m still doing photography… I’m not sure I’ll ever *not* do photography! I also continued with classes for my master degree, and taught a bit too!

this year I really focused on being present, enjoying the little things, and learning how to prioritize while juggling so much! Next year will probably be much of the same. I always say I will try to post more, but you know how that goes!
