My sessions are casual. There will be tickling, playing, exploring, cuddling, hug and kisses and possibly a bad joke or two. If the kids are 'wild', that's ok! My images are about capturing those moments we all wish we could freeze. They are warm and emotional and will capture your genuine connection.

These are a few of my favorite things. Most of all the adorable pink nose!

Phoenix and I (the dog too) ‘ran away’ from the snow and headed south for a week of warm weather and fun with horse friends. While the weather wasn’t exactly as warm as hoped, it was so nice to have some time to bond and recharge batteries. I was working too but a change of scenery and quiet morning hacks around the property filled our buckets. We worked on remembering a few things about dressage and had a blast running around the cross country field.

It’s been 3 years together and while I sometimes get hard on myself that we aren’t further along, I also need to remind myself where we started - a mom that rode as a kid set out to find a horse on a tight budget she could share with her girls and a nervous natured 10 year old horse who had sat in a field his whole life. Probably not the smartest combo. But he was a well bred cute mover on budget sooooo?? (Sure, there was a reason for that.) What’s the saying, ‘green and green make black and blue.’ Lol. I had no idea what I was getting into. But I was determined to try - for my kid, and to prove to myself that I can do hard things. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks right? It’s been quite the journey to this point, and there was lots of help. I could go on forever about little victories and set backs along the way but I won’t. What I will say is we have learned and grown, a lot, and together - most of all we’ve learned to take a breath, be patient, be brave and to trust. And of course he stole a piece of my heart along the way.

Now he’s getting ready to have his first full eventing season with my daughter, and I couldn’t be happier that we are at this point and she’s taking the reins (literally).

Some sessions feel more like catching up with old friends (okay… maybe high school has something to do with it 😉), but also because this sweet crew was full of big smiles, goofy moments, and the kind of energy that just makes time fly by! The boys were pure joy and so much fun to capture. 🎉💕

Loved capturing this sweet family! Let’s be honest—teenagers aren’t always thrilled about picture day. Mom usually drag them there, and I can practically feel the eye rolls before they even step out of the car. 😆

That’s where my job comes in. My goal is always to make the session as painless as possible… which sometimes means starting with the most ridiculous prompts. Whether they end up laughing at themselves or laughing at me, I’ll gladly take it. These three were such good sports, and you can tell they love each other way more than they’ll ever admit out loud!! ❤️ We had so much fun!

Bloopers coming soon—because making teenagers do wonderfully awkward things (yes, including the viral TikTok walk) always leads to the best moments… especially when the parents jump in too! 😂📸
