I have always enjoyed the creative aspect of what I do, both my parents were artistic and taught me a lot growing up, I got a degree in Fine Art/Design & Technology, which has given me a good background for my work; but when the 'rubber meets the road', I owe all things to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ, it is He who gives us abilities and purpose to life !

For the last few years I have been using ready made shower pans made by a company called 'tile-redi', they are a one piece pan made from what seems to be a high density polyurathane foam, they are rigid yet still flexible enough to acomodate slight floor undulations. My main reason for going with them is you can stick ceramic tile directly to the suface, and if there is ever a leak on the grout, the water doesn't get out the pan. The install is quick, compared to building one from scratch, and they come in a variety of sizes and outlet options.

Quality work comes with years of experience, and the skills to do it right in the first place, this can sometimes put the price up compared to other contractors. In other words a customer can always find someone 'cheaper', but it doesn't always guarentee a good job. It helps to find out the customers 'budget', and take it from there.

The following pictures are of a house on the corner of Church St.
and Chalmers St., downtown Charleston. There were about 65
windows that needed painting, plus shutters, the finished work
looks quite sharp, will be painting the stucco at a later date.
