I had the opportunity to capture some behind-the-scenes content for Kcat TV 15 @ and their newly refreshed studio and let me just say… this space is made for creativity.

But what makes it even more special? I brought my kids with me because they have been showing interest in TV/Film Production and this summer is opening their doors to the next generation of creators.

From live TV production to filmmaking, interviews, and storytelling, kids ages 9–13 get hands on experience in a real studio environment, creating everything from news segments to full-on productions.

Think: confidence, creativity, teamwork and seeing their work come to life on screen.

If you have a kid who loves being in front of the camera (or behind it), this is such an incredible local opportunity.

What a treat it was to meet this family! They are new to my community circle and I’m so happy and grateful they found and chose me! Besides the fact they were some of the most kindest families I’ve met, their boys were incredibly gracious and well mannered! It made me question my own children’s social interactions with people 😆 but in all seriousness they were a delight to shoot 😍

It was such an honor to photograph this sweet family for the second year in a row. Watching families grow and getting invited back to document these moments truly means the world to me.

I’ve known this particular family for several years now and it was my first photo session with them. We had such a good time and many laughs. They included their pup, Hero 🐶 🐾 .
