📸Throwback to The Prince and Me - 22 Years Later! 🎬 Hard to believe it's been 22 years since I photographed The Prince and Me for Paramount Pictures in the beautiful Czech Republic! 🇨🇿 Shot on actual film - yes that kind you couldn't check on a screen right after snapping! 😁Unlike today's digital safety net, these images were captured on color transparency (slides) where getting the exposure right was an art (and a bit of a gamble). No second chances, no instant previews - just pure skill, precision and a bit of old-school photographic magic! From behind-the-scenes moments to official stills, my images have lived in the Special Collector's Edition DVD, press kits, international posters, and even the Chinese DVD cover. Looking back, The Prince and Me is a film that has in a way found its audience over time. For some, the movie became a cult favourite, as both a product of its time and miles ahead of it. It is proving that early reviews didn't define its lasting appeal. Here are just a few of my photos from the film. A little nostalgia, royal romance, and early 2000 magic!

I just had the pleasure of photographing these 16 paintings by the Czech-German-American artist, Henry L. Richter. These photos will be featured in the exhibition catalogue for his latest show, which is open to the public until late October 2024. If you’re in Los Angeles, don’t miss this exhibition at Belmont Village Senior Living in Westwood, open daily from noon to 8 PM.

Organized by the Czech Consulate in LA and the Czechoslovak Society of Arts & Sciences, with guest curator Kateřina Slavíková, it’s a beautiful tribute to Henry’s artistic journey.

in swirling tendrils, we find our respite...

Hollywood workers are on a break and in the midst of an existential fight for their long-term survival, determining their future and whether America can be a place where stars are born and movies are made... Let's unite to make Hollywood healthy again 💫🌟✨

One of my favorite things is to photograph my friends and their bambinos - Caron told me her daughter never poses for photos, but she somehow made an exception for me. It meant a lot. I loved how natural and authentic, without the need to perform or do any poses. I sometimes love photographing non-actors. Some people you watch, it’s simply an accident of fate whether or not they become actors, or, say, doctors….
